Motorola merilis Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX versi GSM. Jerman dikabarkan sebagai negara pertama yang akan menikmati smartphone LTE ini. Ia mengusung sistem operasi Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

Telah mendukung jaringan LTE, Motorola membenamkn baterai besar pada ponsel dengan tebal 9.9 milimeter ini. Baterai Li ion 3300 mAh bisa digunakan untuk menelepon hingga 21 jam, atau bertahan hingga 386 jam pada posisi siaga.

Motorola juga mengklaim baterai ponsel ini bisa digunakan untuk menonton delapan film secara berurutan untuk satu kali charge.

Moto Droid RAZR MAXX memiliki display 4.3 inci super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen, dengan kedalaman 16 juta warna, resolusi 540x960 piksel. Chipset TI OMAP 4430 CPU dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 sedangkan GPU PowerVR SGX540.

GPS sudah mendukung layanan GPS dari Russia, Glonass. Memori internal 16 GB dengan RAM 1 GB. Kapasitas bisa diekspan hingga 32 GB menggunakan SD Card.

Terdapat kamera 8 MP, 3264x2448 piksel, dengan lensa autofocus dan LED flash terintegrasi. Koneksi Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot.
